Governance
Our Governing Body plays a crucial role in the leadership and development of our school. Governors work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to help ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
The Governing Body meets regularly throughout the academic year. Governors also contribute through committees, termly school visits and individual areas of responsibility.
The Governing Body has three key responsibilities:
- setting the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction
- holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school
- overseeing the school’s finances and ensuring resources are used effectively
Governors provide support and constructive challenge and help ensure that the needs of our pupils remain at the heart of decision-making.
