The Stonebridge School is committed to protecting personal information and handling it lawfully, fairly and securely.

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and other relevant data protection legislation. The Stonebridge School is the data controller for most of the personal information that we collect and use.

Our privacy notices explain what personal information we collect, why we collect and use it, the lawful basis for doing so, who we may share it with, how long we keep it and the rights individuals have in relation to their personal information.

Our Data Protection Officer is Kate Pelazza.

The Data Protection Officer oversees the school's compliance with data protection law and can be contacted about the way the school collects, uses, stores or shares personal information, including requests relating to individual data protection rights. All maintained schools are required to have a designated Data Protection Officer.

Privacy Notices

Our privacy notices provide information about how The Stonebridge School processes personal information. Privacy notices are reviewed regularly and updated where there are significant changes to the way personal data is processed. CCTV

CCTV is in operation at The Stonebridge School for safety and security purposes. Images captured by CCTV are personal data and are handled in accordance with data protection legislation.

Data Protection Concerns and Complaints

If you have a concern or complaint about the way The Stonebridge School has used your personal information, please contact our Data Protection Officer at admin@stonebridge.brent.sch.uk. 

We will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days and will take appropriate steps to investigate and respond without undue delay. 

You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
